Este martes por la mañana se dieron a conocer los nominados a la entrega número 87 de los Premios de la Academia, los cuales serán entregados en una gala que se realizará el próximo 22 de febrero.
Las películas "Birdman" del director mexicano Alejandro González Iñárritu, y "The Grand Budapest Hotel" están empatadas en el mayor número de nominaciones con 9 cada una, mientras que "The Imitation Game" les sigue de cerca con 8 candidaturas. Estas tres cintas se encuentran en la categoría de Mejor Película.
Otros de los filmes con más nominaciones fueron "Boyhood" (la gran triunfadora de los Globos de Oro 2015) y "American Sniper," el drama bélico de Clint Eastwood, las cuales consiguieron 6 candidaturas, mientras que "Whiplash," "Interstellar" y "Foxcatcher" fueron reconocidas con 5 nominaciones.
Y como cada año, las nominaciones a los Premios Oscar siempre traen consigo algunas sorpresas. Amy Adams, ganadora del Globo de Oro 2015 como Mejor Actriz de Comedia por "Big Eyes," no apareció entre las nominadas a Mejor Actriz, ni tampoco Jennifer Aniston por su actuación en "Cake," la cual se rumoraba era digna de una nominación; de igual forma se ignoró a "The Lego Movie" en la categoría de Película Animada.
